IMPORTANT NOTICE

As part of its efforts to evacuate stranded Indian nationals abroad desirous of returning to India, the Government of India has allowed the travel to India by “Permitted Non-scheduled /Charter commercial flights”.

2. This covers chartered Aircrafts by Indian Associations/ welfare groups and Indians stranded abroad with means to charter private flights. All such Charters are to be operated in full compliance with the SOP issued by Ministry of Home Affairs of India vide link https://www.mha.gov.in/sites/default/files/MHAOrderDt24052020forspecifiedpersonstotravelabroad.pdf and SOP by Ministry of Civil Aviation of India vide link -

3. In view of the above, the High Commission of India, Accra informs all potential organisers of such charter flights in Ghana, Sierra Leone and Togo to furnish proposals giving the Charter flight details including Sectors, number of passengers which can be carried on each sector, tentative fares etc. which after scrutiny will be sent to the Government of India for necessary clearance. Once such clearance is obtained the organising entity will proceed further with the data of stranded Indians already registered with the High Commission of India, Accra.
