Celebrating India's Rich Linguistic Legacy

India in Ghana (High Commission of India, Accra) celebrated the conferment of Classical Language Status on Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, Pali & Prakrit, recognizing the immense contribution these languages have made to India's literary, historical & intellectual traditions.

Representatives of the Marathi and Bengali communities showcased cultural performances and expressed gratitude to the Government of India, presenting letters of appreciation to the Second Secretary (PIC, Com, Cons & Edu), addressed to the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India.

Attendees were also briefed about the ongoing Bharat Ko Janiye Quiz and encouraged to participate in large numbers.
